Successful launching of Transimex 200 TEU ship

On June 2, 2020 at 11am, Transimex and its shipbuilding partner successfully launched the ship ‘Transimex 200’, adding to the company's container shipping fleet for the Cai Mep - ICD route and, in the future, Cai Mep - West Vietnam and Saigon - West Vietnam routes.

This is a great effort in expanding and developing the company’s inland waterway transport service and contributing to the transportation industry by increasing water transport and reducing road transport and in turn reducing logistics costs.

Specifications of the ship: length: 79.97m, width: 15.55m, draft: 4.15m, height: 4.8m, tonnage: 3,780 tons, carrying capacity: 200 TEU. The ship is fitted with two main engines with a capacity of 760CV of the Cummins QSKMM machine which ensures safe navigation in all weather conditions.
