Transimex Corporation invests in solar power system at ICD Transimex Port and Transimex SHTP Logistics

With the mission for sustainable Logistics development through the development of Green Logistics, Transimex Corporation always focuses and aims to use technologies to protect the environment in the process of completing the extended logistics service supply chain areas across the country. Specifically, in 2020, Transimex has deployed and accepted two solar power projects as follows:

• Solar power project at ICD Transimex Port with a roof area of ​​6,600 m2, for a capacity of 718 kWp.
• Solar power project at Transimex SHTP Logistics with a roof area of ​​8600 m2, for a capacity of 916 kWp.

The total capacity of the two roof-mounted solar projects is 1,634 kWp, the average annual total produced electricity is approximately 2,333Mwh.

Putting the two solar power generation systems into operation not only solves electricity consumption demand, reduces costs for businesses, but also reduces pressure on the national power transmission network. At the same time, this contributes to environmental protection by reducing the amount of CO2 emissions into the environment by an estimated 1,200 tons / year.
