Transimex hosts annual training workshop on occupational safety and hygiene for 2023

On the morning of June 10, 2023, at TMS SHTP Hall - Lot BT, Street D2, High-Tech Park, District 9, Hồ Chí Minh City and ICD Transimex Port at 429/8 Song Hành Hà Nội Street, Quarter 7, Trường Thọ Ward, Thủ Đức municipality, Hồ Chí Minh City, Transimex Joint Stock Company hosted a training workshop on occupational safety and hygiene for 2023 for the Company's employees. The content of the training program was designed in accordance with the training framework program Decree No. 44/2016/ND-CP dated May 15, 2016 by the Government detailing a number of articles of the law on labor safety, safety training and occupational hygiene.

The training program was divided into 2 sessions:

• Morning: General theoretical training for Groups 1,2,3,4. Students learned about the system of policies and laws on occupational safety and hygiene, and inherited/consolidated basic knowledge and skills thereof.
• Afternoon: Group 3 students were trained directly at the workplace on recognizing dangerous and harmful factors; learned signs and directions at the workplace; rehearsed safe work procedures, incident handling procedures related to assigned tasks and work, and escape procedures in emergencies.

 

After completing the training course, students learned:

• Basic knowledge of occupational safety and hygiene;
• Rights and obligations of employers and employees;
• Policies and regimes on occupational safety and hygiene for employees; Basic knowledge about dangerous and harmful factors in the workplace and methods to improve working conditions;
• Functions and tasks of the safety and hygiene network;
• Safety culture in production and business; safety regulations, labor hygiene, signs, safety instructions, labor hygiene and use of safety equipment, personal protective equipment, professional skills, first aid skills for occupational accidents, and occupational disease prevention.

 

This is one of the OSH training courses held annually to consolidate knowledge as well as raise awareness of compliance with OSH regulations during the working process of employees, to ensure absolute safety in production labor and serving the increasing demands of customers regarding occupational safety and hygiene.
