Transimex participates in the supply chain for Vietnamese lychees

 

The 2020 lychee season has come and is entering peak period. This year's lychee season is expected to yield 120% compared to 2019.

This year, Transimex (TMS), together with its partner BIG-C supermarket system, participated in the lychee supply chain by export and distribution from northern regions to southern regions of Vietnam.

On June 6, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the Government delegation attended and cut the ribbon at the export ceremony of the Bac Giang lychee truck for consumption in domestic and foreign markets. TMS participates in providing lychee distribution service from Luc Ngan for consumption in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Thailand, China, etc. TMS has provided refrigerated trucks and containers that meet HACCP standards for efficient transportation as well as preserve the quality of the lychees and ensure food safety and hygiene.

Currently, TMS is one of the leading logistics service providers in Vietnam with services such as international freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution, trucking, integrated logistics, specialized container management, inland barge service, and ICD port service. In regard to the freight forwarding services, Transimex’s fleet has more than 150 container tractors, 60 specialized small trucks stretching from North to South Vietnam ready to meet all transportation needs of all types of goods with competitive and reasonable costs.
