On July 9, 2023, Transimex Port Joint Stock Company (Subsidiary of Transimex) launched and implemented an additional vessel specializing in transporting containers by inland waterway, named "TRANSIMEX 22", adding to the company’s existing fleet. The company's container transport for the Cái Mép - ICD route and in the future is Cái Mép - Miền Tây, Saigon - Miền Tây.

On June 13, 2023, Transimex Shipping Joint Stock Company (Subsidiary of Transimex) held a ceremony to receive the Transimex Sun container ship and 300 newly built Transimex containers at MPC Port, Hải Phòng. This is the first ship and container owned by Transimex, marking a historical turning point for Transimex Group: it is the first time the corporation has directly participated in Vietnam's seaborne container transport market.
